Oslo, 24th April 2007: Noble Denton Norge AS (“Noble Denton”), an associated company of the Noble Denton Group - the leading offshore and marine consulting engineering firm - today announces the acquisition of Intelligent Decisions AS (“InDec”), a specialist in high quality R&D, engineering & project management for clients in the power, marine, renewables and the oil and gas industries.

Noble Denton Group has had spectacular growth in the last few years capitalising on the increasing demand for consulting services in the marine and energy markets. InDec adds not only new and complementary expertise to Noble Denton but also provides new avenues for significant growth to both organisations.

David Sutton, CEO of Noble Denton Group, said: “The acquisition is part of our general strategy of growth, with particular emphasis on expanding our range of services in Norway. Therefore we are very pleased to add a team of naval architects, materials experts and analysts who can be catalysts for this growth. Coming hard on the heels of recent investment in Noble Denton by two private equity firms in Norway, this acquisition reinforces our position.”

Lars Løken, General Manager of Noble Denton Norge, stated: “Noble Denton has built a strong reputation in Norway, primarily through the provision of the highest quality Marine Warranty Services to major operators in the Norwegian continental shelf. The acquisition of InDec with personnel who have a strong record of innovation will enable Noble Denton to offer a wider portfolio of services to these clients. We expect that this acquisition will help us to accelerate the growth of the company in the medium term.”

Dr Karl Christian Strømsem, founding Managing Director of InDec, said: “It is exciting to join forces with a firm with a worldwide reputation for excellence such as Noble Denton, who can provide an international network to deliver our services and provide stability and extra resources to existing and new clients.”

The acquired company will be known as Noble Denton InDec AS.
