   Spring Energy: New oil discovery

   Faroe Petroleum, an AIM-listed independent oil and gas company, has today announced a discovery in the “Butch” exploration well on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Spring Energy holds a 15% ownership in this licence. Please find a copy of the news release from Faroe Petroleum below.
   
   Spring Energy will announce details of the discovery once they have made their own assessment of the discovery.
