Apply Steelcad AS solgt til Havyard

Apply Group har gjennom sitt datterselskap Apply Sørco AS solgt Apply Steelcad AS til Havyard Design AS, et selskap i Havyard Group. Apply Steelcad AS er et selskap med 27 ansatte i Norge og eierandeler i engineeringselskaper i Polen og Kroatia.

Apply Steelcad, er et velrenommert selskap som har levert engineeringtjenester til skipskonsulenter og skipsverft i Norge og i utlandet i en årrekke. Den kompetanse selskapet besitter er spisset mot det maritime markedet, og skiller seg i så måte fra resten av virksomheten i Apply Group, sier administrerende direktør i Apply Sørco AS og styreleder i Apply Steelcad AS, Frederik Hvistendahl.

 

For å få utnyttet verdiskapningspotensialet i Apply Steelcad fullt ut, trengs en bredere integrasjon mot en større del av verdikjeden innen maritim design og produksjon. Apply Group leverer prosjekter og tilknyttede varer og tjenester til olje og gass industrien, og fokuserer derfor ikke sterkt mot maritim sektor. Havyard Group vil følgelig være en bedre havn for Apply Steelcad, avslutter Hvistendahl.

 

Apply Steelcad AS har vært eiet av Apply Sørco AS siden mars 2007. Selskapet skifter etter transaksjonen navn til Havyard Steelcad AS. Havyard Steelcad vil fortsatt være lokalisert i Stavanger, og Erik Kirkemo vil fortsette som daglig leder i selskapet.

    Axon Energy Products closes two acquisitions, establishes Pressure Products Group

    Axon Energy Products have closed two acquisitions in the Houston area in recent weeks. With Church Energy Services, Axon has added a product line in blowout preventers which complements the product lines of Drilling Controls Inc., resulting in the formation of Axon Pressure Products Inc. (APP). The acquisition of the assets of the pump manufacturer Demay International adds both a new product line and a modern facility well suited for manufacturing oilfield equipment.

    Apply Group, through its subsidiary Apply Sørco AS, has sold Apply Steelcad AS to Havyard Design AS, a company in the Havyard Group. Apply Steelcad AS has 27 employees in Norway and shareholdings in engineering companies in Poland and Croatia.

    HitecVision closes investment in Reef Subsea

    HitecVision and GC Rieber Shipping ASA have established the jointly owned company Reef Subsea AS, in accordance with the joint announcement on the 22nd October 2009. Reef Subsea has received a NOK 195 million investment from its owners. In addition, GC Rieber Shipping have transferred its existing investments in the geotechnical company Bluestone Offshore Pte Ltd and the subsea services company Technocean AS, (including its subsidiary Scan Mudring).
