HitecVision AS has had another active year. The company's 2008 revenues were NOK 188 million, and net income after taxes, before minorities' shares of income was NOK 106 million. Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco - OSE:NOR), has today proposed to Det norske oljeselskap ASA (Det norske - OSE:DETNOR) a combination of the two companies through a share-for-share merger. The proposed exchange ratio is 2.44918 Noreco shares per each Det norske share, implying a 52.5% ownership in the combined company for Det norske shareholders. Noreco's proposal gives a 9.3 % premium to the 6 months volume weighted average trading prices. BZ25-1 came on stream successfully ahead of schedule on August 27th. Oil was being exported via the APL SYS (SAL Yoke) system to the FPSO Hai Yang Shi You 113. The BZ25-1 oil field is located in Bohai Bay Block 11/19 in the Peoples Republic of China, approximately 150 km southeast from the port of Tanggu.
